Brittany Wells became interested in leatherworking out of a lifelong love for the outdoors and the art of making.

Her attention turned to saddlemaking after discovering that a good horse often starts with equipment that fits and moves well– something that proved tough to find from the usual routes.

After spending time in Montana learning the craft under the supervision of experienced saddlemakers and consulting with world-class treemakers, she returned to Texas to continue refining her skills.
